Graphics [10/10]:
The graphics are great. Its a excellent port of the arcade game. Their is
no slowdown in this game at all! The tracks and trucks all look great and
realistic.
Music & Sound [10/10]:
The music is all done very well especially during the introduction. Also
the sound effects are excellent and sound like they were taken directly out
of the arcade game.
Game Play [6/10]:
First off its only for up to two players, unlike the arcades game 4
players. Why couldn't they have supported that 4 Player adapter thing?
Second is you can only use trucks unlike the arcades game tracks and dune
buggies. Now for the worst, the AI. One of the trucks is almost always
impossible to beat and the other one is impossible not to beat. If they
could have used the AI from the arcade game we would have a great game here!
Challenge & Replay [7/10]:
Well i have already described the challenge above, now for the other
problems. Once you have had this game about a week you will hardly ever play
the single player game. But the two player game remains fun for a long time
if you have someone to play with as good as you are(which is a very big
problem for me).
Conclusion/Overall [7/10]:
Well if Tradewest had spent one additional month tweaking the AI and
Multiplayer option we would have a gem of a game here. But as it is it is
still a good buy!
